New Years Eve

It's New Years Eve in New York City, and OKG is ready! As everyone seeks the city for the perfect dress, shoes, and of course.. Jewelry, we wanted to share our New Years Eve favorites with you! The perfect assets for a night of transgressions, followed by a day of new beginnings.

This Ruby and Diamond necklace together evoke a dazzling sense of power and give off an exotic aesthetic. This piece captures everything about New Years Eve in New York.
Next on the list of OKG's New Years Eve favorites is this Labradorite necklace. Labradorite originates in Labrador, Canada and was meant in the past to symbolize magic because of the combination of serendipity and synchronicity it brought into your life. We hope the new year brings everyone the same sense of good fortune and magic.

Diamonds are more than just a girls best friend. The un-breaking hardness of the diamond and how it's born under pressure represents strength, and beautiful outcomes of adversity. The shine and rarity of the diamond represents purity and innocence. This means that no matter what challenges the past year has brought, they could all be turned into beautiful gems and clean beginnings for the new year.

The final piece of our New Year's Eve favorites, is this gold and diamond necklace. The shape and texture makes it a dazzling design that would make any outfit standout. As Antoine Rivarol said "Gold like the sun, which melts wax, but hardens clay, expands great souls" We want to wish your soul, as well as those around you, a healthy and happy new year.

A 7 YEAR OLD JUST GOT A $77 MILLION GIFT

Can you imagine being 7 years old and receiving a $77 million gift from your dad?

Blue Moon Diamond

This amazing natural 12.03ct cushion cut blue diamond was sold $48.5 million Dollars.

The buyer is one of Hong Kong's biggest billionaires Joseph Lau, who bought the gem for his 7 year old daughter Josephine. He named it "Star of Josephine"

This is one of World's largest vivid fancy blue diamonds. It was discovered in Cullinan mine, South Africa and was originally 29.6ct.

The cutting process of the diamond took 3 months.

The businessman also got a spectacular pink diamond ring for her little girl.

“The Williamson Pink” Diamond Discovery

And this is for pink diamond lovers!
Such exciting news! A natural vivid "carnation" pink diamond was discovered in a famous mine in South Africa. It is 23.16ct tw and was sold for $10.1 million Dollars.

A pink diamond in this size and color is extremely rare. There were only 3 vivid color and high quality pink diamonds auctioned in the past 250 years.

Pink diamonds get their color due to a seismic shock when the diamond is formed. The molecular structure of the diamond changes during the process and the color comes out.

This pink diamond is estimated to end up as an 11 carat after it is cut and polished. At the moment it is bigger than a strawberry!
